Loveland City Schools Board of Education announces Public Input Session

 

  • What: The Board is announcing a special, 2-hour meeting dedicated exclusively to hearing public input.  Community members will have the opportunity to share their views on any School related topics via a Zoom Webinar, email or in-person.  
  • When: Thursday December 3, 6:30PM – 8:30 PM
  • Where:
  • How: We ask that you provide an advance notification email by 2:00 PM on December 3 of your intent to provide comments or attend the meeting in-person. These emails serve two purposes:
    • If you are planning on attending in person, we want to ensure we do not exceed the 75-person maximum occupancy of the space driven by Covid related social distancing limits.
    • If you are planning on sharing comments either in person or electronically, the date & time of your email will determine speaking order during the meeting.  We will confirm receipt of your email and provide you with your sequence number for presenters at the meeting.  Time permitting, in-person attendees may also address the board without advance notification via a sign-up sheet at the meeting room and will be sequenced after the advance notification list is complete.
  • Housekeeping:
    • Input is limited to 3 minutes per community member in order to allow for as many individuals to offer their input as possible.  
    • Please note the following guidelines for advance notifications emails:
      1. Participation via written comments submitted through email: Send your comments to [email protected] and use the Subject “E-mail Input at December 3 Community Meeting”.  If you want your comments read aloud during the meeting, please clearly indicate so at the top of the message along with your name. All Board members will receive your message, but it will not be shared publicly unless you request it to be. 
      2. In-person: If you wish to speak in-person at the meeting and secure your place in the sequence or just advise us of your intent to be present at the meeting, please send an email to the Board with the subject “In-person Input at December 3 Community Meeting” and provide your name in the body of the message. Simply indicate whether you intend to speak or just attend.
      3. Via Zoom Webinar: Please send an email with the subject “Zoom input at December 3 Community Meeting” along with your name in the body of the message.  Use the same email address on your Zoom log-in so we can identify you in the speaker’s queue. 
    • If attending the meeting in person, please observe the mandated mask requirement and maintain appropriate physical distancing.  Seating will be established following distancing guidelines so please do not rearrange chairs or tables.
